What do I wear?

Please wear comfortable layers, especially if it is a chilly morning.  You can lose layers as you warm up.  Choose something that you can move around in. Please bring a shawl or small blanket for your relaxation.

Yoga mats and props

Please bring your Yoga Mat. If you need to bring the floor up to meet you sometimes a block or two can be really handy.  Alternatively, a thick book, can or small box will do the trick. This especially applies to the beginner’s course. A strap is not essential but helpful to extend the reach of the arms. A belt or scarf can also do the same job but these are not essential. Please also bring a bottle of water for hydration.

How to get there

For map information please see: www.yogashala.club/contact

Buckland Park Lake, Park Lake Drive, Buckland, Betchworth.

The entrance is opposite Lawrence lane on the main Reigate Road.  Just along from The Pheasant Pub.  Look out for large black metal gates with a Buckland Park Lake sign on the front.

OUTSIDE YOGA – Is on the top lawn.  As you are standing in the main car park looking towards the lake, take the steps to the left bringing you up to a gravel road.  Turn left then immediately right onto another path meeting on the picnic lawn at the top.

INSIDE YOGA – As you are standing in the main car park looking at the lake turn right and walk towards the building with the black door and a yoga sign on the front.  Another sign points to the indoor activity centre.

Parking

Yoga at the park includes entry parking and a 2 hr stay before or after the. class. When you drive into the site either park your car just beyond the ticket hut on the left hand side or follow the road round to the right where you will find a large car park.  As you are driving to park with the lake on your left, our building is straight ahead with the black door.

What to expect from a class
