What is Kundalini?
The ancient practice of Kundalini is a powerful technology for promoting health and a sense of wellbeing. Once hidden and only practiced by elite groups, it is now available for all. A complete science, combining posture, breath, mantra and meditation in a potent and effective system of personal development and self transformation. The focus of Kundalini yoga is to break through blocks in the energetic pathways of our bodies that result from our postural and emotional habits and history. When our energy flows freely and easily we feel balanced and connected to ourselves and the universe. A regular practice strengthens the nervous system, balances the glandular system leading to increased emotional stability and pysical vitality. Negative patterns and habits drop away, creativity flourishes.
The class is 75 minutes due to an essential meditation and relaxation process.
This class is open to all levels from complete beginners to long term students but until you get used to the kriyas and the breath work there will be opportunity to take this at your own pace. The Kriyas (sets) will be carefully considered for beginners. Always checking in with yourself and your practice.
